A Basic Library

The goal of Tree City USA is to encourage the continuous, systematic planting and care of trees. Arbor Day Foundation publications Urban Forestry: A Practical Guide to Sustainability and the Tree Board Handbook are excellent sources of information that can help meet this goal. Here are some other books that will provide a good start on assembling a basic library that provides the knowledge and skills necessary to implement practices that lead to good urban forestry.
