Kenneth Munson has been involved in the sustainable management of global forests for more than three decades. During his time in the forest products industry, Munson promoted development and responsible-use forestry through projects in the United States and worldwide including Brazil, China, New Zealand, France, Poland, Mexico and Russia. Munson is now an independent advisor and strategist in leadership development, forest operations and investments. He’s committed to sharing his knowledge and experience of the forestry sector with the students in the Leadership Academy at Oregon State University as an affiliate faculty member, and as an adjunct professor at the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO, directing a forest-sector leadership program.

 

Munson said he’s seen firsthand how trees and forests can transform communities through a range of benefits. Munson is now serving his second term on the Arbor Day Foundation board.
