GCS Building Solutions Partners with Arbor Day Foundation To Plant Trees in Florida Forests
Nebraska City, Neb. (April 22, 2010) – GCS Building Solutions, Inc., is teaming up with the Arbor Day Foundation to plant trees in Florida's forests through its "GCS Planted a Tree For Me" program.
GCS Building Solutions, Inc., will make a donation to the Arbor Day Foundation to plant one tree in Florida's forests for each customer that books an appointment with a GCS representative. The company's goal is to plant 1,000 trees by the end of the year.
"Thanks to GCS Building Solutions and its clients, many trees will be planted in Florida forests," said Brian Schenk, corporate partnership manager at the Arbor Day Foundation. "These trees will add beauty to the landscape, clean the air we breathe and restore habitat for countless species of wildlife."
GCS Building Solutions, Inc., is based in Miramar Beach, Fla., and offers its customers windows, doors, garage doors, awnings, exterior decorative shutters and hurricane protection. The company proudly partners with top manufacturers to offer green, sustainable product lines.
"In an effort to protect both our customers' homes and the environment GCS Building Solutions is committed to a 'greener' way of doing business," said co-owner Melinda Adams. "It's an honor to be able to partner with the Arbor Day Foundation and we are hopeful that we can serve our clients as we work to ensure that Florida's forests are here for generations to enjoy."
