Arbor Day Foundation Announces Partnership with Ayumma to Plant Trees in America's Forests
Honor Friends and Loved Ones and Make an Impact on the World By Sending Give-A-Tree Cards from the Arbor Day Foundation
Nebraska City, Neb. (Nov. 9, 2009) – Make a difference in the life of someone you know – and in the world – while you use a favorite photo on the Arbor Day Foundation new Give-A-Tree photo cards.
Every Give-A-Tree photo card plants a tree in a national forest that has been devastated by wildfire, insects and disease.
Photo cards are new this year in the Arbor Day Foundation's line of Give-A-Tree greeting cards. Each Give-A-Tree card plants a tree in a national forest in honor of the recipient.
Give-A-Tree photo cards cost $3.50 apiece (for 50-99 cards) or $2 apiece on orders of more than 100. Included is the cost to plant a tree in honor of each friend, family member or loved one.
The Arbor Day Foundation also offers traditional Give-A-Tree greeting cards, including 20 different holiday varieties that cost $5.95 apiece (discounts are available for orders of more than 50 cards).
Every Give-A-Tree Card is printed on 100 percent recycled FSC Certified paper.
Each card is inscribed, "In your honor, a tree is being planted in a National Forest." Give-A-Tree Cards are helping to replant America's national forests.
Give-A-Tree cards can be purchased at www.arborday.org/giveatree.
Since 1990, the Arbor Day Foundation has worked with the U.S. Forest Service on reforestation projects, planting more than 20 million trees in our nation's forests. Still, the Forest Service has identified a backlog of nearly 1 million acres that are in need of replanting as a result of having to divert much of its budget in recent years to fighting wildfires.
Thanks to Give-A-Tree Cards, gift givers now have an easy way to make a difference in the world today by planting trees in our national forests.
