The 120-page resource for families highlights research and case studies with descriptive photography and illustrations on how to create outdoor play spaces that encourage childhood learning and development. August 9, 2012 Certified Nature Explore Classroom Opens at U.S. Fish and Wildlife's National Conservation Training Center The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's (FWS) National Conservation Training Center (NCTC), a hub for conservation education and training in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, recently opened a certified Nature Explore classroom with recognition from the Arbor Day Foundation and Dimensions Educational Research Foundation. June 13, 2012 Discovery Child Care Centre Recognized as Canada's First Nature Explore Classroom Discovery Child Care Centre of Barrie, Ontario, is Canada's first Nature Explore Classroom after receiving the designation from the Arbor Day Foundation and Dimensions Educational Research Foundation. Discovery Child Care Centre will join a growing network of organizations and institutions in developing research-based outdoor learning opportunities for children.
