Students and staff at Hobart and William Smith Colleges planted 75 trees from the Arbor Day Foundation this afternoon, in celebration of the Colleges' commitment to improving tree care and sustainability.

Only Two Weeks Left to Vote for "America's Favorite Cherry Tree"

"America's Favorite Cherry Tree," an online poll launched in January by the Arbor Day Foundation and the National Cherry Blossom Festival, will conclude on Friday, April 27. So far, 6,000 people from all 50 states and more than 25 countries have participated in the poll, and one of the three cherry trees has held a commanding lead since the January launch.

Arbor Day Foundation and Toyota Grant 40 Trees to the University of Illinois at Chicago Through Tree Campus USA

Students and staff at the University of Illinois at Chicago planted 40 trees from the Arbor Day Foundation this morning, in celebration of the university's commitment to improving tree care and sustainability. This is the first year of Tree City USA recognition for the University of Illinois at Chicago.
