The Arbor Day Foundation and Subaru have teamed up to establish the largest corporate community tree distribution program in the U.S.
We are proud to partner with Subaru and its retailers nationwide as they provide regionally appropriate trees at their stores, helping put more trees into the hands (and yards) of people across the country.
Leaving the world better than we found it
This year alone, this partnership will distribute 100,000 trees as we continue to grow greener healthier communities, together.
Making the world better, street by street
Every day, trees are hard at work providing oxygen, cooling busy streets, cleaning our air, and improving our physical and mental health. Put simply, community trees make our world better.
But each year, we lose 36 million neighborhood trees to things like extreme weather, disease, pests, development, and age. It’s why this work is so important. Distributing trees directly to residents is a meaningful way to not only make up for lost trees, but to grow thriving neighborhoods for generations to come.
Trees have the answers. They just need to be planted.
It can be difficult to visualize the big ways trees take on some of our biggest challenges. If just one mature tree can do all this per year, imagine the good 100,000 can do.
