Hurricane Helene and Milton Recovery

Help restore what was lost and increase future storm resiliency in Florida.

One year later, it’s time to replant

Together, we can help communities heal

It’s been one year since Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton wreaked havoc on the Tampa Bay region of Florida. These two Category 3 storms struck mere weeks apart, causing massive destruction to communities and destroying hundreds of mature trees—leaving the area vulnerable.

We’ve been doing recovery work with on-the-ground partners for the last 365 days, but now it’s time to replant in key areas like Rivercrest Park. Restoring the destroyed canopy here is urgently needed to protect water access, fortify the river’s shoreline, improve stormwater mitigation, and fight extreme heat.

You can help restore a sense of home for the people and animals of Florida. Donate now so we can get more trees in the ground.
