Madagascar Lemur Habitat Restoration

World Lemur Day is October 31. Help plant 20,000 trees to restore critical habitats.

Save wildlife habitats in Madagascar

The forests in Madagascar are some of the most biodiverse and threatened in the world. Because of deforestation and slash-and-burn agriculture, endangered lemur species and a local way of life are at risk.

Without large-scale reforestation, the greater Bamboo Lemur and the Northern Sportive Lemur could go extinct. You can help us save critical lemur habitats and protect the local community that calls these forests home.

With your support, we can plant 20,000 trees where they’re needed most. Donate today and help us reach our goal before World Lemur Day on October 31.

If you’re not sure where your donation can have the biggest impact, we can help. Our approach layers data mapping with local partner expertise to ensure that we get the right trees in the right places, and grow the most good.
